Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers beautiful and relaxing rooms with stunning views, but some maintenance issues were noted. The service was a mix of disinterested to unfriendly staff in some areas, while others were amazing and very helpful. The location is very good, with direct beach access and a pleasant surrounding atmosphere. The dining experience had its highs and lows, with exceptional options available but also some disappointments. Overall, a mixed experience with potential for improvement.
The hotel offers an amazing modern rustic style room with a conservatory overlooking beautiful gardens, the beachfront, Table Mountain, and the Nine Apostles, providing a breathtaking sunset view. However, the room size is quite small with a unique layout including a standalone bath in the middle of the room next to a washbasin and shower.
The room was small but modern and wonderfully designed with a standalone bath. It wasn't in the main building, which suited us perfectly. Service was a mixed bag, but the staff kept dogs away from food areas and were the icing on the cake. The location was stunning and serene, especially for our curious 11-year-old. The dining experience had its faults, but the homemade bread was a highlight.
The hotel is truly amazing, offering beautiful and relaxing rooms with stunning views from the impressive rope bridge and wooden deck. The service is superb, making me feel welcomed and attended to. The location is simply stunning, nestled into the cliffs beneath Lions Head mountain. The dining experience had some shortcomings, with overcooked items, but the overall stay was wonderful.
